Born on 29.08.1956 at Kushalgarh (Banswara). Belongs to Village Jawas of Tribal Tehsil Kharwara (Udaipur District). Education upto Secondary level at different places in Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara Districts. College Education, B.Sc. in the Year 1975 & LL.B in the year 1978, from erstwhile SBSH (M.B. College) and School of Law respectively, University of Udaipur.

Joined Rajasthan Judicial Service as Munsif-Cum-Judicial Magistrate on 29.07.1980. As CJM, he was posted at Rajsamand and Banswara. Promoted in Rajasthan Higher Judicial Service in Year 1999. Remained posted as ADJ at Bhilwara and Jaipur Districts. In DJ Cadre, he adorned the posts of Judge MACT, Chittorgarh, Registrar (Writ) at Jaipur Bench and Registrar (Administration) at Principal Seat Jodhpur. He had been District and Sessions Judge at Chittorgarh and Kota Districts. While holding key post of Registrar General of Rajasthan High Court (from 31.08.2013), elevated on 11.04.2016 as Judge of the Rajasthan High Court.
