He completed his LL.B. and LL.M. from Dungar College, Bikaner in the year 1989 & 1991 respectively. He cleared Rajasthan Judicial Services Examination in his 1st attempt and joined the service in the year 1992.

He remained posted as Additional District & Sessions Judge (Fast Track), Barmer, Jhalawar and Rajsamand; Additional District & Sessions Judge, Barmer and Churu; C.B.I. Judge, Jaipur, N.D.P.S. Judge, Jodhpur and Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Jodhpur. He remained posted as District & Sessions Judge, Sirohi, Sri Ganganagar, Udaipur and Jodhpur Metropolitan.
