GUIDELINES FOR USE OF ONLINE RTI PORTAL
1.This Web Portal can be used only by Indian citizens to file RTI Application and First RTI Appeal.
2.Any supporting document/annexure can be attached as PDF document in "Supporting Document" option with the specified file size.
3.Fee for applying RTI application: A fee of ₹50/- per application is required. The applicant can pay the prescribed fee through the following modes: Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Card and UPI.
4.After successful submission of Application form & payment of application fee, an Application ID would be generated. The Application ID should be referred by the applicant for any future reference and correspondence.
5.The applicant is advised to wait for 24-48 working hours as application will be registered only after reconciliation of payment. In case of any query, kindly contact the concerned SPIO/SAPIO through e-mail provided in the acknowledgement receipt.
6.Applicant is advised to check the portal on regular basis for any information regarding application/appeal status, additional fee, copying charges, inspection charges and/or any other charges / information, and act accordingly.
7.The Application ID of original application has to be used for reference at the time of filing the First Appeal. As per RTI Act/Rules, no fee has to be paid for appeal.
8.All the requirements for filing RTI Application/Appeal, as well as other provisions regarding time limit, exemptions etc., will be applicable as provided in the RTI Act/Rules.
9.Application Fee or any other Charges once paid through Portal shall not be refunded.
10.State Public Information Officer
  • For Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur - Deputy Registrar (Judicial), Jodhpur
  • For Rajasthan High Court, Bench Jaipur - Deputy Registrar (Judicial), Bench Jaipur
  • For Courts located at District Headquarter - Chief Judicial Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of concerned Judgeship.
11.State Assistant Public Information Officer for Outlying Courts
  • Senior most Additional Chief Judicial Magistrates at the Headquarter.
  • Where there is no Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, then Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrates at the Headquarter.
12.Appellate Authorities
  • For Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur and Bench Jaipur - Registrar General.
  • For all the courts of District Judiciary - District & Sessions Judge of the concerned Judgeship.
